The association of German e-commerce and internet economy eco e.V. and the Voluntary Self-Monitoring of Multimedia Providers FSM e.V. run hotlines receiving complaints on illegal and harming internet content for many years now. For the first time, they offer users in just one website at www.internet-beschwerdestelle.de/en a possibility to inform about several aspects of safe use of the internet and a possibility to submit complaints which are handled accordant the division of responsibilities of eco and FSM. Eco and FSM are founder members of INHOPE, the international umbrella association of internet hotlines and complaint offices.
